FRANKFURT BOOK FAIR: Mike Shatzkin of the IdeaLogical Company delivered some news last week at a Frankfurt seminar: the book now comes under that catch-all contractual category of "subsidiary rights", he said. Having just delivered a couple of chapters of a book this week to be told by my editor that he will be "sending it to our consultant for assessment" doesn't make me feel like a radiant sun.
