FRANKFURT BOOK FAIR: Mike Shatzkin of the IdeaLogical Company delivered some news last week at a Frankfurt seminar: the book now comes under that catch-all contractual category of "subsidiary rights", he said. It is part of what has been called "the Copernican change" - that is, intellectual property is now the sun, not the book. "The book is merely one orbiting opportunity," declared Shatzkin at a session entitled Start with XML. (Extensible Markup Language) ...
Having just delivered a couple of chapters of a book this week to be told by my editor that he will be "sending it to our consultant for assessment" doesn't make me feel like a radiant sun.
Adobe's CS4 - is it any good? Can anyone get it for us free?
