Four new people gave the evening a buzz, including May Corfield, a book editor from Hawkhurst, and Chris (f) Fraser from Tenterden, a graphic designer mainly on children's books. Simon Spanswick from Cranbrook, formerly with the BBC (where coincidentally he knew May), runs the Association for International Broadcasters. Check his website out by clicking on his name in the panel on the right. Check out, too, Neil Nixon, a man of many parts from Maidstone, who has had an option on a film script taken up by Jude Law. He teaches a Professional Writing course at North West Kent College. David Merewether was there, and Dick Stevenson had just been having a drink with George Almond, who is about to re-create the pioneering 1933 flight over Everest in a biplane (see Wings Over Everest).

If anyone can swap info on Adobe's new Lightroom, Penny Tweedie would like to know.
CONTACT PEOPLE There are currently more than 30 people on Groucho South-East's mailing list, but I don't want to put their contact details (web or email) on the panel, right, until I have their agreement. This blog would be a much better resource if everyone were listed, so please email me and let me know.
